On this page you'll find out how easy setting up an event with Nancy Rue is, and whether it's something your church/school/group can do, or whether it would be better for you to try and attend an already scheduled event in your area. But if you really do want to set up your own event, read on! Below you'll find information about price, space, publicity, book sales, plus links to a sample contract and a menu of all the great workshops Nancy offers. All the information you'll find represents a system that LEAPS of Faith has developed to simplify the process of booking events for Nancy, but if you have any questions or suggestions for an event, drop us an e-mail. You'll find we are very flexible, creative, and enthusiastic when it comes to planning Nancy Rue events, because, after all, getting out there with the kids is what it's all about!
*Types of Events*
The events that Nancy Rue sets up personally with interested parties like you fall into three categories:
School Days Home School Days Guest Speaker/Writing Conference Teacher

School Days
* Nancy speaks and does workshops in both public and private school settings for student groups of any size.
* If you are within approximately 1 hour/80 miles driving distance of the LEAPS home base, Lebanon, TN, Nancy is available to
do readings or brief speaking engagements for a negotiable fee--just drop us an e-mail!--in addition to half and whole-day booking
options.
* For all other schools, Nancy is available for half-day and whole-day events.
Half-Day Event with Nancy Rue
* Your choice of either: -one 45-minute keynote speech and two 1-hour workshops, plus book signing ($535)
OR
-two 45-minute interactive keynote speeches, plus book signing ($500)
Full-Day Event with Nancy Rue
* Your choice of either: -one 45-minute keynote and four 1-hour workshops, plus book signing ($1000)
OR
-three 45-minute interactive keynotes, plus book signing ($600)
* If an event requires Nancy to travel a distance of more than 100 miles, the school contracting for the event
will also be responsible for the cost of mileage ($.45 per mile) or plane fare for Nancy and one assistant, plus
lodging. In order to defray costs, schools may recommend Nancy for events to other schools in the surrounding
area on consecutive dates, and split the cost of mileage/plane fare and lodging.

Home School Days
* Nancy has frequently taught at events especially for parents and kids in the Home School community, both individually and
with other Christian kids authors like Bill Myers, Sigmund Brower, Shirley Hughes, Steve Bly, and Bob Elmer.
* Home School groups can include a range of ages from 8 and up, plus parents.
* Home School events are available in full-day format only for groups of a MINIMUM of 30 students up to 100 students.
The price is $70 per participating student (i.e. any attending child over the age of seven) for a MINIMUM fee of $2100.00.
A flat fee of $2100.00 will be accepted for groups of less than 30 students. Flat fees for groups larger than 100 can be
negotiated by contacting LEAPS staff.
* All Home School events include one 45-minute keynote and four 1-hour workshops, plus a book signing.
* All events requiring Nancy to travel more than 100 miles include the additional cost of mileage ($.45 per mile)
or plane fare for Nancy and one assistant, plus lodging for Nancy and assistant. For groups of 100 or more, these
costs will be included in the negotiated fee.

Guest Speaker / Writing Conference Teacher
* Nancy is available for booking as a guest speaker at schools, churches, conferences, and other such functions for no less
than $500, plus travel when applicable--each event will be negotiated on an individual basis by contacting LEAPS staff. She
has been a speaker at countless schools, clubs and churches, and has spoken around the country for Yada Yada and BeTween
(formerly Yada Jr.), events for women and girls sponsored by Virtuous Reality.
* Nancy is also available for engagement as a teacher at writing conferences, and has taught at the Glen Eyrie Writers'
Conference, the Colorado Christian Writers' Conference, the Greater Philadelphia Writers' Conference, the Montrose
Christian Writers' Conference, the Young Writers' Institute, and the Glorieta Writers' Conference. (See Writing Workshop

* Nancy also partners with renowned author Angela Hunt ( www.angelahuntbooks.com ) to provide The Nangie Experience, a
